Our Story
Warriors for Christ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was founded by Professor Alvin Tillman Jr. over a decade ago. Answering a calling from God, he envisioned a unique gym, a place of growth and community, where the transformative power of martial arts could be made accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances.
The Warrior’s journey isn’t just about learning self-defense – it’s about discovering true potential, growing in strength, discipline, and faith. We believe that every individual, every family that walks through our doors should have the opportunity to benefit from this journey.
Our vision goes beyond being just a gym – we aspire to be a home, a beacon of positivity and resilience for our community in Houston.
